Biography
Jeannine Julien brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, community engagement and relationship building, with a career centered on connecting people, organizations and communities to opportunities that make a meaningful difference. She is also a part-time practicing mediator.
Julien's nonprofit experience spans education, community engagement and services supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and other challenges. She has also spent many years in higher education and healthcare philanthropy, building relationships with donors and helping secure support for cancer research, patient care and other initiatives that improve lives.
Throughout her career, Julien has been especially passionate about listening to people’s stories, understanding what matters most to them and helping turn their interests and values into meaningful action. Her approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, relationship building and a genuine commitment to serving others.
Outside of her professional work, Julien is a court appointed special advocate (CASA), where she advocates for children involved in the foster care system. She is also a longtime participant in community theater, an interest that reflects her love of creativity, connection and community. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Chris, their German Shepherd, Tywin, and their cat, Kitty.
